Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Shopify App Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our Shopify applications. As a Shopify App Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Shopify apps that enhance the functionality and user experience of our clients’ online stores. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, creating innovative solutions for the Shopify platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • 2. Design and develop Shopify apps using Shopify APIs, Liquid programming language, and other relevant technologies.
  • 3. Customize and extend existing Shopify themes to match client branding and requirements.
  • 4. Optimize app performance and ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
  • 5. Implement secure coding practices and conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • 6. Test and debug Shopify apps to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.

Skills And Requirments:

  • 1. Proficiency in Shopify development and customization, including working with Shopify APIs and Liquid.
  • 2. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS and MySQL with experience in front-end & back-end development.
  • 3. Experience in developing and maintaining Shopify apps using the Shopify API and app development frameworks (e.g., Shopify CLI, Shopify Polaris).
  • 4. Familiarity with Shopify theme development and customization.
  • 5. Solid understanding of web development principles, best practices, and security standards.
  • 6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • 7. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
  • 8. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.
  • 9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 10. Prior experience in e-commerce development and familiarity with Shopify Plus is a plus.
